The Program
The objective of this Training Program is to develop supervisory skills within a Person Centred, Reflective framework. Using a person centred and creative approach, this program supports supervisors to develop skills that will equip them to supervise practitioners across a range of different modalities and presenting issues.
The program is strongly influenced by the latest research in neuroscience and underpinned by person centred principles and a compassionate approach. With a focus on the relationship and each individual’s innate healing capacity and growth potential, supervision, like therapy, can be transformational. The inclusion of practical activities from expressive / creative modalities facilitates learning and supports participants in their development as Supervisors.
The Program is 3 x 2-day workshops, across three months. For each 2-day workshop, participants will be provided with pre-reading, to be completed prior to attending the program. These pre-readings are taken from a number of respected authors in the Supervision field and will deepen your understanding of the theory of supervision. The workshops will provide opportunity for discussion, reflection, activities and application.
